The Can’t-Miss Sporting Events This FallSeptember 19, 2019
When some people think of fall, pastoral images of fall foliage and Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes come to mind.
For the rest of us though, fall is that wonderful season where every weekend features a can’t-miss sporting event of some kind or another.
But why settle for experiencing these magical moments from hundreds of miles away when Aircraft Services Group can get you front and center to stadiums around the country; in the most convenient, most comfortable way possible.
Notre Dame at Georgia, September 21
The trash-talk coming from a litany of University of Georgia players (via Twitter) as they watched Notre Dame get positively trucked by Clemson in last year’s College Football Playoff semifinal guarantees this Week 4 matchup between the Fighting Irish and the Bulldogs will be an absolute barnburner.
This will actually be Notre Dame’s first trip to Athens — and a return game after the two played in South Bend back in 2017 — and the the playoff implications in this one are. Circle your calendars now for this one.
Or: Notre Dame at Michigan, October 26th
* If you can’t make it down to Georgia that weekend but still want to root on the Fighting Irish, you can always “settle” for a trip to Ann Arbor the weekend of October 26th to witness the latest installment of one of the greatest college football rivalries of all time.
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Los Angeles Clippers, October 22
Tipping off the 2019-2020 season are two of the most exciting, intriguing teams in the NBA: the Los Angeles Lakers and their crosstown, stadium-sharing rivals the Los Angeles Clippers.
This will be All-Star Anthony Davis’ debut with the Purple and Gold, which is reason enough to head to L.A. for this game, but he and LeBron will have a daunting task in front of them with the new partnership of NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard and Paul George facing them down from the other side of the court.
Multiple players on both teams have already talked up how excited they are to fight for on-court supremacy in the City of Angles, and it’s going to be a blast to watch them do so, especially if you’re surrounded by the sure-to-be raucous crowd in attendance that night.
Philadelphia Eagles at Green Bay Packers, Sep 26
There is zero love lost between two of the oldest teams in the NFL. And on September 26th, these two powerhouses will be colliding at the famed Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
The last time the Eagles traveled to Lambeau Field in the regular season, the Packers won 53-20, but this time around, with Carson Wentz at the Eagles’ helm, it’s set to be a nail-biter. Not to mention, if you’re a true NFL fan, you have to make time to visit this mecca of football at least once before you die.

Yankees vs. TBD, October 4
Currently comfortably perched atop the AL East, the New York Yankees have already punched their ticket to this year’s playoffs. The only question now is who their opponent(s) will be. Cleveland? Tampa Bay? Possibly even Boston?
Regardless, the Yankees success gives you the perfect opportunity to visit the new 49,642-capacity Yankee Stadium that has already found its own place in pinstripe lore and habitually makes outlets’ Best Baseball Stadiums to Visit lists.
